Team India will play more than 200 matches under FTP, know which team will play with the first series




Team India will start its first World Test Championship (WTC) from the series in the West Indies tour. The ICC announced its Future Tour Program (FTP) for five years (2018 to 2023) on Wednesday. Under WTC, the Indian team will play a series of two Test matches from the West Indies.




The top nine teams playing Test matches will play in the WTC from July 15, 2019 to April 2021. India's second rival in WTC will be South Africa, which will play three Tests at home. India and Pakistan will not be face-to-face in WTC However, they can be in the finals.




Under the WTC, the Indian team will play a total of 18 Test matches out of which 12 will be against Australia, South Africa and England. At the same time, under the one-day league of 13 teams, the Indian team will start their first one-day league in Sri Lanka in 2020 against Sri Lanka. In this league, all the 12 Test-playing teams, including the Netherlands, will join. This is also the qualifier for the one-day league 2023 World Cup.
