भारतीय मार्केट में चीनी कंपनियों की बढ़ती हिस्सेदारी को चुनौती देने के लिए सैमसंग ने तैयारी कर ली है। अभी कुछ दिन पहले ही खबर आई थी कि सैमसंग इंडिया जुलाई के पहले हफ्ते में अपनी गैलेक्सी ऑन सीरीज़ का नया स्मार्टफोन लॉन्च करेगी। अब यह साफ हो गया है कि Samsung का यह फोन फ्लिपकार्ट एक्सक्लूसिव होगा। दरअसल, ई-कॉमर्स साइट Flipkart पर एक नया वेबपेज लाइव हो गया है जिससे पता चला है कि नए स्मार्टफोन को 2 जलाई को लॉन्च किया जाएगा। वहीं, न्यूज एजेंसी आईएएनएस ने जानकारी दी है कि यह फोन Samsung Galaxy On6 के नाम से जाना जाएगा।

दावा किया गया था कि Samsung Galaxy On6 में 4 जीबी रैम के साथ 64 जीबी स्टोरेज दी जाएगी और इसकी कीमत 15,000 रुपये होगी। इस फोन के लिए लाइव किए गए फ्लिपकार्ट के नए वेबपेज पर गौर करें तो पता चलता है कि यह फोन चैट ओवर वीडियो फीचर के साथ आएगा जिसकी झलक हमें हाल ही में लॉन्च किए गए Samsung Galaxy J6 और Samsung Galaxy J8में मिली थी। इस वेबपेज पर दो वीडियो भी इस्तेमाल किए गए हैं। दोनों ही वीडियो में बॉलीवुड स्टार टाइगर श्रॉफ को कुछ स्टंट करते दिखाया गया है और इस दौरान वह सैमसंग के इस कथित फोन पर कुछ देखते हुए नज़र आ रहे हैं। बता दें कि फ्लिपकार्ट से हमें फोन के नाम को लेकर कोई जानकारी नहीं मिली है। सिर्फ यह साफ हो सका है कि यह फोन सैमसंग की गैलेक्सी ऑन सीरीज़ का होगा।

WhatsApp में एक नया फीचर आने वाला है जिसके बाद ग्रुप एडिमन को और अधिकार मिल जाएंगे। इस फीचर को व्हाट्सऐप बीटा एंड्रॉयड ऐप के 2.18.201 वर्ज़न और आईफोन ऐप 2.18.70 स्टेबल वर्ज़न के लिए रिलीज किया गया है। नए फीचर में WhatsApp ग्रुप के एडमिन को ग्रुप के अन्य सदस्यों द्वारा उस व्हाट्सऐप ग्रुप में मैसेज भेजने की क्षमता को नियंत्रित करने की सुविधा मिलती है। नया फीचर ग्रुप सेटिंग्स मेन्यू के अंदर मौज़ूद है। यहां पर सेंड मैसेज नाम का एक फीचर आया है। इसे एडमिन या सभी पार्टिसिपेंट के बीच टॉगल किया जा सकेगा। गैजेट्स 360 ने इस फीचर को व्हाट्सऐप एंड्रॉयड (बीटा) और आईफोन पर इस्तेमाल किया है। जानकारी मिली है कि इस फीचर को व्हाट्सऐप एंड्रॉयड के स्टेबल 2.18.191 वर्ज़न के अलावा विंडोज फोन के लिए जल्द रिलीज किया जाएगा।

नया सेंड मैसेजेज़ विकल्प अब एडिट ग्रुप इंफो के साथ आएगा जो ग्रुप सेटिंग्स में सभी पार्टिसिपेंट और ऑनली एडमिन्स के विकल्प के साथ मौज़ूद है। यह फीचर तब भी उपलब्ध होगा जब ग्रुप में सिर्फ एक एडमिन है। वहीं, ग्रुप के सभी सदस्यों को ब्रॉडकास्ट टेक्स्ट मैसेजेज़ के ज़रिए इस संबंध में जानकारी दी जाएगी।


इस फीचर को भारत में व्हाट्सऐप बिजनेस अकाउंट के बढ़ते इस्तेमाल से जोड़ कर देखा जा रहा है। इस प्लेटफॉर्म के जरिए प्रोडक्ट खरीदने या बेचने वाली कई कंपनियां ग्रुप के अन्य सदस्यों के गैर-ज़रूरी मैसेज भेजने के अधिकार को लेकर परेशान रही हैं। इस फीचर के आ जाने के बाद इस लोकप्रिय ऐप में स्पैम मैसेज दूर करने की सुविधा मिलेगी।व्हाट्सऐपबीटाइंफो के मुताबिक, इस फीचर को एंड्रॉयड, आईफोन और विंडोज फोन के स्टेबल वर्ज़न के लिए रोलआउट किया जा रहा है। दूसरी तरफ, आईओएस के लिए अन्य प्लेटफॉर्म की तुलना में इस फीचर को ज़्यादा तेज़ी से रोलआउट किया जा रहा है।

WhatsApp के लिए ग्रुप एडमिन कंट्रोल को सबसे पहले मई में रिलीज किया गया था। इस दौरान ग्रुप एडमिन को ग्रुप डिसक्रिप्शन और आइकन को बदलने के अधिकार तय की सुविधा दी गई थी। इसके अलावा ग्रुप एडमिन अन्य सदस्यों के अधिकार कम सकते हैं। अपडेट से यह भी सुनिश्चित हो गया था कि व्हाट्सऐप ग्रुप से किसी भी एडमिन को दूसरे एडमिन द्वारा नहीं हटाया जा सकेगा।

रिलायंस जियो लॉन्च के 6 महीने के अंदर ही देश की सबसे बड़ी ब्रॉडबैंड कनेक्शन प्रदाता कंपनी बन गई है। यह जानकारी टेलीकॉम रेगुलेटर ट्राई के आंकड़े से सामने आई है। आंकड़ें फरवरी महीने के हैं और इसमें वायर्ड व वायरलेस कनेक्शन को शामिल किया गया है। ट्राई के मुताबिक, ब्रॉडबैंड की मान्यता के लिए न्यूनतम स्पीड 512 केबीपीएस होनी चाहिए। रिपोर्ट से पता चला है कि फरवरी महीने में ब्रॉडबैंड कनेक्शन की संख्या 261.31 मिलियन से 2.98 प्रतिशत बढ़कर 253.75 मिलियन हो गई। इसमें से सिर्फ 4जी वायरलेस नेटवर्क देने वाली रिलायंस जियो के पास करीब 10 करोड़ 28 लाख यूज़र हैं।

क्लॉकवर्क की तरह ट्राई ने भी टेलीकॉम सब्सक्रिप्शन रिपोर्ट जारी की है। यह अप्रैल महीने की है। रिपोर्ट में सामने आया है कि मार्च महीने के मुकाबले अप्रैल में टेलीफोन सब्सक्राइबर की संख्या में 4.85 फीसदी की गिरावट आई है। मार्च के आखिरी में यह संख्या जहां 120.662 करोड़ थी, वहीं अप्रैल में यह संख्या गिरकर 114.771 करोड़ हो गई। एक तरफ जहां सब्सक्राइबर की कुल संख्या गिरी है, वहीं Reliance Jio ने अपनी रफ्तार बनाए रखी है। अप्रैल में कंपनी ने 96 लाख सब्सक्राइबर जोड़े। यह संख्या मार्च में जोड़े गए (94 लाख) सब्क्राइबर से ज्यादा है।

ट्राई की रिपोर्ट कहती है कि आइडिया ने 55 लाख, एयरटेल ने 45 लाख सब्सक्राइबर अप्रैल महीने में 'कमाए'। बीएसएनएल ने 7 लाख सब्सक्राइबर अप्रैल महीने में जोड़े। मार्च में वोडाफोन ने मार्च महीने में 5 लाख सब्सक्राइबर का नुकसान उठाया। रिलायंस जियो का 'दबदबा' कायम है। एयरटेल की बात करें तो अभी भी वायरलेस सब्सक्राइबर मार्केट में इसका सबसे बड़ा शेयर (27.44 फीसदी) है। वोडाफोन इस सूची में 19.74 फीसदी, आइडिया 19.27 फसदी मार्केट शेयर के साथ कायम है। जियो इस सूची में 17.44 फीसदी की हिस्सेदारी रखती है।

अमेरिकी डॉलर की तुलना में भारतीय रुपये में लगातार गिरावट जारी है. एक डॉलर के मुकाबले भारतीय रुपया 28 जून 2018 को अब तक के सबसे न्यूनतम स्तर 69.10 पर पहुंच गया.

अंतर बैंकिंग मुद्रा बाजार में रुपया डॉलर के मुकाबले 68.87 रुपये प्रति डॉलर पर खुला और शुरुआती कारोबार में 49 पैसे गिरकर 69.10 रुपये प्रति डॉलर पर आ गया.
डॉलर में बढ़त के कारण रुपये पर दबाव बना हुआ है. कच्चे तेल में तेजी से रुपये पर दोहरा दबाव बना है. इस साल रुपया अब तक 8 प्रतिशत से ज्यादा टूट चुका है. इससे देश में महंगाई बढ़ने का खतरा बन गया है.

रुपये में गिरावट के कारण

• अमेरिका और चीन के बीच ट्रेड वॉर बढ़ने की आशंकाओं के चलते भारतीय रुपये पर दबाव बन रहा है.

• इसके अलावा, अमेरिका द्वारा चीन सहित सभी सहयोगी देशों से ईरान से कच्चे तेल का आयात चार नवंबर तक बंद करने को कहा था.

• इस घोषणा से वैश्विक स्तर पर कच्चे तेल की कीमतों में उछाल आया और डॉलर की कीमतों में भी वृद्धि हुई है.

• इसके अतिरिक्त, हर महीने के आखिर में ऑयल मार्केटिंग कंपनियों (HPCL, IOC, BPCL) की ओर से डॉलर की मांग बढ़ जाती है. इसीलिए महीने के अंत में भारतीय रुपया कमजोर हुआ है.

BSNL ने एक लंबे समय की वैधता वाला प्रीपेड प्लान उतारा है। इस पैक की कीमत है 1,999 रुपये,जो यूज़र को हर दिन 2 जीबी डेटा देगा। पैक में असीमित वॉयस कॉल (दिल्ली-मुंबई छोड़कर) और 100 एसएमएस हर दिन का लाभ मिलेगा। इस पैक की वैधता 365 दिन या 12 महीने है। कुल मिलाकर इसमें 730 जीबी डेटा यूज़र को मिलेगा। यह पैक बीएसएनएल यूज़र को पीआरबीटी की सेवा भी देगा। इसके अलावा आपको बता दें कि कंपनी केरल सर्कल के अलावा कहीं भी 4जी सेवा नहीं देती है।

MUMBAI: A day before an Enforcement Directorate court is likely to take up a case to declare

a fugitive and allow it to confiscate his assets, the former liquor baron renewed his “offer of settlement” to Indian authorities. However, junior foreign minister M J Akbar on Tuesday said if “Mallya wanted to repay his bank dues...he had many, many years in which he could have done so.”


Mallya said there has been no response to several offers of settlement sent to bank chiefs, the FM and the PM in the past. He said the government was keen on securing his presence in India only to make him “a lightning rod of public anger” and was not serious about settling loan defaults.


In a five-page statement on Monday

, adding that he was doing so “to put things in the right perspective”. He repeated the contention that he was made the “poster boy of bank default” even as banks and borrowers have reached one-time settlements in the past and lenders were taking “significant haircuts under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code before the NCLT ”.


“I respectfully say I have made and continue to make every effort, in good faith to settle with public sector banks. If politically motivated extraneous factors interfere, there is nothing that I can do,” he said in the open letter also posted on Twitter. Incidentally, the statement comes weeks ahead of the final hearing by a court in London which would decide on the Indian government’s request for extradition.



“The CBI and ED have filed chargesheets against me with various untenable and blatantly false allegations acting at the behest of the government and lending banks. The ED has also attached assets belonging to me, my group companies and companies owned or controlled by my family under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act currently valued at Rs 13,900 crore,” the letter, which appeared belligerent and desperate in equal in parts, said.


Mallya, 62, pointed out that United Breweries Holdings and he have filed an application before the Karnataka

HC even as late this month, setting out available assets totalling almost Rs 14,000 crore.


“We have requested the court’s permission to allow us to sell these assets under judicial supervision and repay creditors, including the public sector banks, such amounts as may be directed and determined by the court,” he said, while adding that “if the criminal agencies such as ED or CBI object to my proposal, and object to the sale of assets, it will clearly demonstrate that there is an agenda against me beyond recovery of dues to the banks”.


The former Rajya Sabha member contended that the consortium of 17 banks led by SBI made various loans to KFA of approximately Rs 5,500 crore, though “I am accused by politicians and the media alike of having stolen and run away with Rs 9,000 crore that was loaned to Kingfisher Airlines”. The statement said recoveries of about Rs 1,880 crore have been made till date (including Rs 1,280 crore deposited with Karnataka HC).



The letter noted that the consortium of banks had filed proceedings before the Debt Recovery Tribunal for recovery of Rs 6,200 crore, including unapplied interest of Rs 1,200 crore. Mallya countered the CBI and ED chargesheets that have accused him of fraudulent borrowing with no intention to repay, siphoning and misuse of funds for non-airline purposes and criminal conspiracy to obtain loans through lies and misrepresentation.


He said SBI’s letter to the RBI in 2012 explaining that the position was beyond the airline’s control while confirming that the promoters (UB Group) had infused substantial funds, appraisals of financial projections that were vetted by SBI Capital Markets and his own communications to the banks offering to settle the loans would blunt the chargesheets.


Mallya alleged that ED has “misused its vast powers under PMLA” to attach assets worth Rs 13,900 crore as “proceeds of crime” on the pretext that guarantors were refusing to honour their corporate and personal guarantees to repay banks. “The ED has even attached assets acquired in 1902, inherited assets and assets acquired even before airline was formed ... How then, can assets created before KFA existed be considered “proceeds of crime?” he said.


“I am tired of this relentless pursuit of me by the government and its criminal agencies. All my efforts are either ignored or misunderstood," the statement added.

In a tweet on MIUI India's official Twitter account on Monday, the company  that the MIUI 9.5 Global Stable ROM would be rolling out for all Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro users in the country. The update will be rolled out via the OTA method in a phased manner, so you might have to wait a few days to receive it. Notably, the Redmi Note 5 Pro was first launched in the Indian market, followed by a China launch with a rebranded Redmi Note 5 moniker that had some upgrades. The is currently sold as the in India.

The smartphone also has a feature called 'Chat over Video' that allows users to chat on WhatsApp and the default messaging app whilst watching videos. The feature, which Samsung claims has been developed by their Indian R&D team, overlays a translucent chat window and keyboard over the video being played. The handset also come with a few memory management features like move to memory card, delete duplicate images, zip unused apps and delete saved APK files. The phone comes with Samsung Mall functionality, and Samsung Pay Mini for mobile payments.

The mega-merger of Idea Cellular Ltd. and Vodafone India Ltd. may not meet the expected June 30 deadline as the Telecom Department is looking to raise a fresh demand of around Rs 4,700 crore, according to a person familiar with the development.

The demand will be raised from Vodafone India before its merger with Idea Cellular.

"Vodafone India had merged its arms into one company and there are dues of around Rs 4,700 crore related to one-time spectrum charges on the company. The Telecom Department will ask Vodafone to either clear dues or furnish bank guarantee before merger with Idea," the person said on condition of anonymity.

In 2015, Vodafone had merged its four subsidiaries Vodafone East, Vodafone South, Vodafone Cellular and Vodafone Digilink with Vodafone Mobile Services, which is now called Vodafone India.

Cricket World Cup 2019: India’s first match will be played on June 5 against South Africa

India will start its campaign in 2019, instead of June 2, against South Africa on June 5, as the BCCI has to make 15 days of inevitable distance between the IPL and the international match, according to the recommendation of the Lodha Committee.

The World Cup will be played in the United Kingdom (UK) between 30 and 14 July 2014. The matter was discussed at the meeting of ICC Chief Executives in Kolkata today.

“The IPL will be played from 29 March to 19 in the coming year, but we have to keep 15 days of difference and the World Cup will start from 30 minutes so that we can play the first match on June 5 for a distance of 15 days,” a senior BCCI official said on condition of privacy. We had to play the first match on June 2, but we could not play that day. ”

Interestingly, earlier, the start of ICC’s top tournament was done before India-Pakistan, because the stadium is full of piers. This was also done in the World Cup 2015 in Australia (Adelaide) and Champions Trophy 2017 (Birmingham).

The official said, “This is the first occasion, however, India and Pakistan will not be competing in the beginning. This tournament will be based on round robin (World Cup 1992 in which every team will play against each other).”

If another decision has been made, it will also include a future tourist program for five years 2019-23. The official said, “As we have decided, India will play maximum 309 days in every format during this period. This is 92 days less than the cycle for the last five years.”

In order to achieve this plan, the user must submit a copy of the bill of new laptops and PCs. The bill should not be more than 2 months old. The report says that the offer is applicable throughout the country, except for the Andaman and Nicobar Telecom Circle.




It is not mentioned in the report where the customer has to pay the laptop's bill but it has been claimed that it will be stored near the area's commercial officer. NEW DELHI: Four days on from the damning ball-tampering controversy which erupted in front of a global audience in Cape Town, Cricket Australia (CA) has banned Australian captain Steve Smith and vice-captain

for 12 months and handed a nine-month ban to Cameron Bancroft. Warner and Smith have also been banned from captaining Australia for two years.





The news came half a day after CA CEO James Sutherland told reporters in Johannesburg that the trio had been suspended from the final Test against South Africa, and that the quantum of punishment would be divulged within 24 hours. On Wednesday, Sutherland and his CA colleagues met with Smith, Warner and Bancroft in the team hotel in Johannesburg and informed them of their respective sanctions.


To its credit, CA has acted swiftly and handed out its sanctions as promised by Sutherland on Tuesday. Smith, it has been reported, will break his silence and address reporters when he lands in Sydney on Thursday.

Team India will start its first World Test Championship (WTC) from the series in the West Indies tour. The ICC announced its Future Tour Program (FTP) for five years (2018 to 2023) on Wednesday. Under WTC, the Indian team will play a series of two Test matches from the West Indies.




The top nine teams playing Test matches will play in the WTC from July 15, 2019 to April 2021. India's second rival in WTC will be South Africa, which will play three Tests at home. India and Pakistan will not be face-to-face in WTC However, they can be in the finals.




Under the WTC, the Indian team will play a total of 18 Test matches out of which 12 will be against Australia, South Africa and England. At the same time, under the one-day league of 13 teams, the Indian team will start their first one-day league in Sri Lanka in 2020 against Sri Lanka. In this league, all the 12 Test-playing teams, including the Netherlands, will join. This is also the qualifier for the one-day league 2023 World Cup.

The faunal biodiversity consists of 14% fishes, 18 % reptiles, 37% avifauna and 25% of the mammal species diversity of the country. Gujarat has total geographical area of 196024 Sq. Km. Out of which, 18961.69 Sq. Km. (9.67%) is declared forest area. State has wide variations in Geophysical and Eco-climatic conditions ranging from hot saline deserts to humid hilly tracts and from coast to high hills, which has resulted in to formation of various types of forest.
